Can I get my vehicle back the same day?
That will depend on the services we are providing — the average full vehicle window tint typically takes 2–4 hours, but more complex services like paint correction or full vehicle coatings may take longer. We will provide you with a time estimate when you receive your quote.
How long do I need to wait before washing my car after a window tint installation?
We generally recommend waiting 3–5 days before rolling down the windows and 7 days before you wash the vehicle after a window tint installation. This timeline allows the tint to fully cure and adhere to the glass.
Does window tinting cause interference with GPS or other electronics?
No, our premium, metal-free tint materials do not interfere with GPS, radio, remote start systems, or other electronics.
What are the benefits of vehicle window tinting?
Professional, high-quality vehicle window tinting helps significantly reduce glare, block harmful UV rays (protecting passengers and the interior upholstery and trim), limit heat buildup in the cabin, and enhance the privacy and security of your vehicle.
Are you able to install any shade or level of tint I want?
Our team works within the Minnesota state tinting laws and can help you choose a compliant option that still provides the look you want. While we can install any shade, we are required to tint only within legal limits.
What is paint protective film (PPF), and why would I need it?
PPF, also commonly called a “clear bra,” is a transparent film that is applied to the high-impact areas of your car. It is a durable, self-healing material that is designed to absorb the impact from road debris like rocks, bug acids, and minor abrasions, all without changing the color or finish.
What is paintless dent repair (PDR)?
PDR is a specific technique that we use to remove dents and dings from the body of a vehicle without affecting the original paint. We use a specialized tool to push the metal back into its original shape from the interior side.
What types of damage can PDR resolve?
PDR is a great option for small to medium-sized dents, door dings, and most hail damage. The key factor is that the paint must be free from cracks, scratches, or significant damage for the PDR to be effective.
What is the difference between PDR and traditional dent repairs?
PDR is faster, less expensive, and allows you to maintain the factory finish by avoiding sanding, body fillers, and repainting. Traditional repairs are typically reserved for cases where the paint is also damaged or missing.
What does a “paint correction” service entail?
Paint correction is a multi-step process that includes machine buffing and polishing to remove light scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and minor imperfections from the clear coat on your vehicle. It helps bring out the deep color and shine of your paint.
What is a ceramic coating, and why should I consider one for my car?
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that we apply by hand to the exterior surfaces of your car. It creates a permanent or semi-permanent bond with the paint, forming a hardened layer that repels water, contaminants, dirt, and UV rays. Ceramic coatings give your vehicle a mirror-like gloss and make your car’s exterior much easier to clean.
